More than their exceptional bravery and undying passion to change one civilization for the better, heroes have left wise words for us to live by. Heroism has a relative definition depending on how a person perceives a hero to be. But even though heroism is defined in many ways, a true hero is someone who fights for a cause they think would change the future for the better.
In my opinion, a hero is someone who believes that there is hope for the future amidst the constant obstacles and destructions in the present day. They treat these adversities as a challenge and with all their power, they would help provide changes in the most ideal way they can. Likewise, anyone today can be a hero in their own simple way. We all have that one hero story that we usually recall every now and then. There’s something about these stories that somehow compels us to be inspired and intrigued at the same time. Whichever way it is, people just love to hear and know about stuff that’s impressive- maybe even supernatural. And to most of us, I’m sure that Greek heroes in Greek Mythology top the list of these kinds of stories.
Life will not go on without adding a little bit of humour. Sometimes, the beauty of facing obstacles is by finding ways to turn something so devastating and painful into something fun and enlightening. If I went outside and asked the people what their top choices are for the most devastating things that could happen into someone’s life, knowing that you have the “Big C” will probably be one of them.
